The Rock in Bury has opened nominations for its 2026 charity partnership programme.
Local charities are being invited to apply for the chance to work with the shopping and leisure destination on a year long programme of fundraising and awareness activity.
Applications opened on Friday 8 May and will close on 22 May.
The Rock said charities applying must have permission to enter and the person submitting the nomination must either work for or be heavily involved with the organisation.
Laura Beal, centre manager at The Rock, said:
“We’re proud to support local causes that make a real difference in our community. Every year we’re inspired by the incredible work charities do across Bury, which is why we refresh our charity partnership annually.
This approach allows us to shine a light on different organisations and give our customers the chance to support a cause they truly care about.”
After nominations close, three charities will be shortlisted by The Rock team before going forward to a public online vote in June.
The vote will run for two weeks, allowing visitors and local residents to choose which organisation becomes the centre’s official charity partner from July 2026.
Current charity partner Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary will automatically be included in the public vote.
