Support Us

Roch Valley Radio is more than just music and talk; we're a trusted, dedicated, independent voice for Rochdale, Bury, and the surrounding areas. Since 1980, we’ve delivered free, independent broadcasting, covering the stories that matter most to you.

Whether it's local news, community events, grassroots sports, or fundraising, we’re here because you’re here. But to keep doing what we do, we need your help.

Unlike national broadcasters, Roch Valley Radio operates without corporate backing; we're a Community Radio Station, not a commercial one. We rely on advertising and the goodwill of our listeners as a not-for-profit organisation. But today, that’s not enough to sustain the high-quality service you’ve come to expect.

Every pound supports our commitment to keep our radio and news free, local, and for the people, not behind paywalls, not driven by clicks, but powered by community trust.

By donating, you're doing more than supporting a radio station, you're helping preserve an essential local service, run by the local community, for the community.
