RBH records highest ever tenant satisfaction scores

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has reported its highest ever tenant satisfaction results, with customer ratings improving across every measure compared with last year.

More than eight in ten tenants said they were satisfied with the housing provider's services.

The latest Tenant Satisfaction Measures for 2025 to 2026 show that 80.5 per cent of RBH customers were either very satisfied or fairly satisfied with the services they received. This compares with 76.6 per cent a year earlier.

Satisfaction with repairs also increased, with 85.2 per cent of customers who had a repair completed during the previous 12 months saying they were satisfied. That is up from 80.9 per cent in the previous survey.

The Tenant Satisfaction Measures were introduced by the Regulator of Social Housing and require every social housing provider in England to report performance against the same set of measures. Twelve of the indicators are based on customer surveys.

RBH said all 12 of its customer satisfaction measures improved compared with the previous year.

The housing provider said it aims to rank within the top 25 per cent of landlords nationally. While national results for 2026 have not yet been published, RBH said local benchmarking indicates it is already in the top quarter of Greater Manchester landlords for 11 of the 12 customer satisfaction measures.

Listening to our customers and acting on what matters to them will always be at the heart of what we do, and I am very proud of work that our colleagues have done to deliver our best ever levels of customer satisfaction.

"We also know that we don't get everything right, and I want to encourage our customers to contact us when things go wrong so that we can put them right and make sure we get it right first time in future."
