A free Teddy Bears’ Picnic themed playground has opened at The Rock in Bury for the Easter holidays, with activities running until 19 April. Families are invited to take part in daily sessions and special themed events.
The installation is now open in the space in front of The Range and will run every day throughout the school holidays, offering an interactive experience designed for children and families.
Visitors can attend free Teddy Bears’ Picnic activity sessions featuring storytelling and themed crafts on Wednesday 8 April and Wednesday 15 April. Sessions will run between 11am and 3pm, starting every 30 minutes and lasting around 20 minutes, with the final session beginning at 2.30pm.
Each session is limited to 16 children and will operate on a first come first served basis to ensure safety and manage capacity.
Families visiting the centre are also encouraged to take photos during their visit and share them on social media by tagging the venue.
Laura Beal, centre manager at The Rock, said “We’re really excited to bring the Teddy Bears’ Picnic to The Rock this Easter. It’s a lovely opportunity for families to spend time together, enjoy some free activities, and create special memories. We can’t wait to see children exploring the playground and getting involved in the crafts and storytelling sessions.”
Further details and the full timetable are available on the centre’s website.
