The family of a woman found dead at a property in Rochdale have paid tribute to her after she was formally identified by police.
Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to Tweedale Street at around 4pm on Monday 25th May 2026, following reports of a concern for welfare.
A 44-year-old woman was found dead at the scene and has now been confirmed by her family as Keeley Aspinall, who was known to loved ones as Kiki.
In a tribute issued through police, her family said: “Gone too soon.. we can’t believe you are gone. We will always love you and miss you, love all your family xx.”
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
Police said enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
