Rochdale DJ Dave Sweetmore will return to host the main stage at Rochdale Feel Good Festival in August.
It will be his thirteenth appearance at the summer event, which takes place on Saturday 8 August.
Dave said:
“This festival has always held a special place in my heart. Growing up locally and now coming back year after year to host it is something I never take for granted. There’s such an incredible atmosphere, and it just keeps getting better every time. I can’t wait for August, the line-up is absolutely brilliant this year, with some amazing acts I’m really excited to share with the crowd. It’s always an honour to be part of it.”
The radio presenter is known across the northern music scene for his indie sets and has worked at clubs, concerts and festivals for more than two decades.
This year’s festival will be headlined by Gabrielle, Ash and Starsailor, with The Allergies and Alex Spencer also confirmed.
The event will include live music across indoor venues, a main stage outside Rochdale Town Hall, food and drink, and other entertainment.
The festival is organised by Rochdale Development Agency and supported by Rochdale Borough Council and local sponsors including The Royal Toby Hotel.
Early bird and phase two tickets have sold out. Discounted tickets are available for £30 plus a 7.5 per cent booking fee.
OMD will headline a separate show at Rochdale Town Hall Square on Friday 7 August, with Peter Hook and The Light and A Certain Ratio also performing.
