The Potting Shed will return to The Rock shopping centre in Bury for five weeks of free gardening themed family activities during the summer holidays.
The attraction will be based outside The Range and will provide a space where families can take part in gardening inspired workshops and activities throughout the school holidays.
Children will be able to join a different nature and gardening themed session every Wednesday from 29 July until 26 August. Activities are designed to encourage creativity, learning and an interest in the natural environment, with themes including planting, growing, wildlife and pollinators.
The workshops will be free to attend and places will be available on a first come, first served basis. A full programme of activities is available on The Rock's website.
Laura Beal, Centre Manager at The Rock, said, "We always look for ways to make the school holidays more enjoyable for families visiting The Rock, and The Potting Shed is the perfect way to combine fun, creativity and learning. With five sessions of themed activities planned, there will be plenty of opportunities for children to get involved, discover something new and enjoy spending time outdoors."
