Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of dangerous driving in Littleborough that left two pedestrians with minor injuries.
A 32 year old man has been arrested and remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Greater Manchester Police said officers were called at about 9.20pm on Saturday 11 July to reports of a vehicle being driven dangerously on Denhurst Road in Littleborough.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had overturned.
Police believe the vehicle collided with two members of the public during the incident. A 35 year old man and a 27 year old woman both suffered minor injuries.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, handling stolen goods and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. He remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Sergeant Cahill from Rochdale Criminal Investigation Department said, "We understand this was a deeply concerning incident and I would like to reassure you, we are doing everything we can to establish the full circumstances.
"I would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance and cooperation whilst officers dealt with the incident.
"As our investigation continues, we are now urging for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has footage from the area to please come forward and report."
