A councillor attending the local election count in Oldham says his vehicle was damaged while parked in the town centre on Thursday evening.
The car belonging to Councillor Kamran Ghafoor was found with a smashed windscreen during proceedings at The Loom.
He had parked the vehicle on Union Street while the election count was taking place nearby.
A photograph showing the damage has been shared with Roch Valley Radio and other media organisations attending the count.
No further details had been confirmed at the time of publication.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment.
