Rochdale Feel Good Festival has announced its main stage headliners for summer 2026, with Gabrielle set to perform in the town centre.
The singer songwriter will top the bill on Saturday 8 August in Rochdale Town Hall Square, joined by indie rock bands Ash and Starsailor, with further acts due to be announced.
Gabrielle rose to prominence in the late 1990s, with her album Rise reaching number one and achieving multi platinum success. She has released six top ten albums and 16 top 40 singles, including chart topping tracks such as Dreams and Rise.
Her recent work includes a remix EP of Dreams and a collaboration with Middleton born artist JP Cooper. She has also performed alongside major international acts and completed arena shows in Manchester and London during her 2025 UK tour.
Ash will also take to the main stage. The Northern Irish band achieved number one success with their debut album 1977 and again with Free All Angels. Known for guitar driven indie rock, they have continued to release new material, with Ad Astra reaching the top 20.
Starsailor complete the current headline line up. The band, known for songs including Alcoholic and Four To The Floor, recently marked their 25th anniversary with a European tour. Their latest album reached number two on the Official Independent Albums Chart.
The festival will also feature live music across indoor venues, alongside a food and drink village and additional entertainment.
Discounted tickets are on sale following the sell out of the early bird release. VIP upgrade packages are also available.

Indie rock chart-toppers Ash will be taking to the main stage in Rochdale this summer.
The event is organised by Rochdale Development Agency on behalf of Rochdale Council. Councillor Sue Smith said Gabrielle is one of the UK’s most influential singer songwriters and described the line up as eagerly anticipated.
The night before the festival, on Friday 7 August, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark will headline a separate show in the town centre, with Peter Hook and The Light and A Certain Ratio also performing.
