FORMER Headteacher of Whitworth Community High School Gill Middlemas was invited to attend the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Mrs Middlemas, who retired from the school in 2024 after 11 years at the helm, had spent nearly 20 years in school leadership in Lancashire.
The prestigious invite celebrated her career which has been dedicated to the service of education.
While Mrs Middlemas has moved on from her permanent post at the school, she hasn't fully retired just yet, as she continues to share her expertise through education consultancy work.
