Dukinfield, Rochdale, Brookdale and Denton are among the local clubs still competing for honours in the Manchester and District Golf Alliance Inter Club Knock Outs.
The competitions, involving more than 100 clubs across the region, have reached the quarter-final stage.
The Dunham Forest Trophy features teams made up of a club professional and six leading amateurs.
Defending champions Ashton-on-Mersey were knocked out in the earlier rounds.
Dukinfield remain in contention and will be led by professional Dave Green when they host Leigh in the quarter-finals.
The other ties are Chorlton against Dunham Forest, Heaton Moor against Wilpshire and Wychwood Park against Disley.
The final will be played at Dunham Forest Golf Club on September 26.
There are no local clubs remaining in the Archie Preston Mixed Foursomes.
Dukinfield travel to Rochdale in the City Glass Men's Foursomes, while Brookdale visit Bolton in the Alliance Seniors KO. Denton make the short trip to Disley in the BMW Juniors KO.
Monthly medal action at Ashton saw Andy Lomas win his division after a card play-off on 66 with Daniel Halkyard. The other divisions were won by Jamie Dickinson, Alan Newell with 67 and Chris Dolman with 66.
Ashton's Sunday Stableford divisions were won by Gary Clarke with 39 points, Bobby Ebrell with 41 and Pete White with 43.
Ollie Lomas scored 38 points to win the Junior Stableford, 15 clear of Mason Mistry and Jacob Midgley.
J Mackinnon, A Dean and C Peirson won the ladies Texas Scramble with 46, one ahead of S Barlow, E Watson and E Roberts.
At Brookdale, Angela Hunter won the ladies Millennium medal with 69, one ahead of Lesley Eaton and Victoria Akin.
Paul Wood topped a Brookdale Roll Up with 42 points, followed by John Pickup with 40 and Keith Miller and Michael Fitzgerald with 38.
The Hall Cup at Crompton and Royton saw the divisions won by Liam Marshall with 68, Jack Keighley with 68, Jaydn Vickers with 63 and Adrian Clegg with 68.
In the midweek medal, Angelo Petrillo won a card play-off with Rick Fallon on 65. Alan Hopkinson junior won another on 66 with David Capper, while Graham Schofield scored 63 and Les Owen 62. Andy Williamson won the Malcolm Burton nine-hole competition with 21.
Gillian Pickering won the second round of the Lady Captain's medal with 68, ahead of Anne Richardson on 69 and Marilyn Harrop, Gail Taylor and Janet Wright on 70.
Charity Pepuzani led Denton's ladies medal with 67, followed by Davina White and Hazel Hathaway on 70.
Bradley Waterfall won the Wednesday Stableford at Denton with 41 points, ahead of Kevin Brearley with 40 and Paul Coulter with 39.
The Yellow Tee Medal divisions were won by Jon Walker with 67, Mark Hart with 67 and Ian Rathbone, who won a card play-off with Ian McIlvanney on 69.
At Dukinfield, the second Captain's qualifier divisions were won by Ian Child with 65, David Brunt with 66 and Edward Gerrard with 73.
Cathy Peel won a card play-off with Abbygale Orford on 65 in the ladies Single Spoon medal, with Joanne Burgess four shots behind.
D and H Slattery won the Mixed Open BB Stableford with 48 points, ahead of J Jacombs and C Davidson on 44.
Noah Dyball topped Dukinfield's Junior Stableford with 42 points, followed by Joseph Kershaw with 38 and Reuben and Jude Shaw with 37.
At Fairfield, Gary Gledhill won the first division of a medal with 65, one ahead of Steve Williams. David Mushet won division two with 67, ahead of Tony Clarke on 68.
Matthew Dunn led the first round of the Marchington Cup with 64. Joshua Proffitt, Phil Wilcoxon, Philip Daley and Karl Carter all scored 65.
Louise Ann Wrigley won the final round for the Rose Bowl with 65, ahead of Wendy Ryan on 72 and Ann Wrigley on 73.
At Saddleworth, Maxine Parfitt won division one of the Lady Captain's Stableford with 40 points, ahead of Helen Hopkinson on 39.
Kath Lacey won division two with 36 points, ten ahead of Catherine Whitworth.
Lee Rowbotham won the Saddleworth Club Championship with rounds of 72 and 70 for 142. BA Pullen finished second on 145 and Craig Burgess third on 148.
Charles Hanson won the Subsidiary Stableford with 43 points, ahead of Daniel Spurr with 40.
P and K Glynn won the Millgate Mixed Open Greensome with 63.0, followed by J Platt and E Pugh with 64.0.
Stamford's August medal divisions were won by Roy Sidebottom with 66, Matthew Stuart with 66 and Martin Duncuft with 63.
Greg Whalley won a card play-off with Craig Pogson on 20 points in the nine-hole Stableford.
Jo Akers won the Stamford ladies Stableford with 38 points, ahead of Marjorie Harrop with 33 and Lesley Green and Janet Sumpter with 32.
