Roch Valley Radio will return as the official media partner for this year’s Glaston-BURY, broadcasting live from the festival as it raises money for Bury Hospice and other local causes.
The team will be at the event throughout the day with music and interviews featuring artists, volunteers and guests from our broadcast trailer.
Glaston-BURY has confirmed Roch Valley Radio will once again join the festival as its official media partner.
The station will broadcast live from the event, bringing listeners music from the festival alongside interviews with some of the people involved in making the day happen.
Artists appearing at Glaston-BURY, volunteers and guests will join with the station during its coverage.
Roch Valley Radio is the community and local radio station serving Bury alongside Rochdale, Oldham and Bolton, making the partnership particularly close to home.
Roch Valley Radio has Bury roots, having been born at Fairfield General Hospital, where we began broadcasting as hospital radio after the amalgamation of local radio.
Roch Valley Radio is also the same age as Glaston-BURY, giving the station and festival another shared connection as we continue to grow alongside the communities that we serve.
Glaston-BURY are delighted to welcome the station back and encouraged people to follow Glaston-BURY and Roch Valley Radio for updates during the final build up to the event.
This year’s main event sponsor is The Bury Black Pudding Company.
Roch Valley Radio’s live coverage will give people at the festival and those listening elsewhere the opportunity to follow the event and hear from those taking part.
