The Queen has spent a night in hospital for tests after cancelling her 2-day trip to Northern Ireland.
It's reported the medical team of the Royal Family cautiously acted to have her admitted yesterday (Wednesday).
The 95-year-old stayed overnight in hospital for the first time in around eight years for practical reasons
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “Following medical advice to rest for a few days, the Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today (Thursday) and remains in good spirits.”
The admission is believed not to be coronavirus related and the sovereign is still expected to attend a reception at the Cop26 climate conference in Glasgow next month.
