A new private healthcare clinic has opened within the grounds of Rochdale AFC, bringing imaging and GP services to patients across the borough.
The facility, operated by TIC Health, launched at the Crown Oil Arena, home of Rochdale AFC. It marked the company’s first site in the North, adding to its established clinics in London.
An open day was held for the launch, with healthcare professionals from across the NHS and private sector attending, alongside representatives from Rochdale AFC.

TIC Health said the Rochdale centre provides private GP appointments, MRI and CT scans, cardiac screening, physiotherapy and corporate health programmes. The company stated that its approach was shaped by experience in professional football, with a focus on rapid access to assessment and treatment.
Dr Christian Kleanthous, chief executive of TIC Health, said:

Speaking to TIC Healthcare staff, we were told patients can access appointments without long wait times, with support from specialist clinicians and on-site diagnostic equipment.
The centre adds to the range of healthcare options available locally, operating as a private provider alongside existing NHS services in the borough.
