Emergency services are responding to an incident at Healey Dell Nature Reserve in Rochdale this afternoon, with police, firefighters and paramedics currently at the scene.
A visible emergency presence has been reported at the popular beauty spot, which is regularly used by walkers, runners and dog walkers.
The reason for the cordon has not been confirmed.
Healey Dell Nature Reserve is located just north of Shawclough and below Whitworth. It is one of Rochdale’s most well known outdoor spaces.
The nature of the incident remains unclear at this stage. Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service have been contacted for information.
