Rochdale’s Feel Good Festival will return on Saturday 8 August, with early bird tickets for the main stage set to go on sale at 10am on Friday 6 February.
Organised by Rochdale Development Agency on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council, the festival will once again bring live music, food and entertainment to Rochdale Town Hall Square and venues across the town centre. Early bird tickets are priced at £15, with a second release at £25 once initial stock sells out. Tickets also include a re-usable drinks cup to reduce single-use plastic.
The festival is celebrating its 15th year and will also include a major pre-festival concert on Friday 7 August featuring Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Peter Hook & The Light and A Certain Ratio.
Main stage acts for Saturday are still under wraps, but organisers have teased a line-up boasting two BRIT Awards, a former Glastonbury main stage headliner, and artists with a combined 13 top ten albums and 28 top 20 singles.
Councillor Sue Smith, cabinet member for communities and co-operation, said: “We’re putting the finishing touches to our main stage line-up and will have some big announcements soon. As always, to make it as good value as possible, we begin with these amazing early bird tickets, and the earlier you secure your tickets the more you save.”
Previous headliners include Ocean Colour Scene, Razorlight, The Coral, Feeder, The Fratellis, Heather Small and The Lightning Seeds. This year’s edition will again be supported by sponsorship from local businesses alongside council funding and ticket sales.
Tickets can be booked at https://rochdale.gov.uk/FeelGoodFestival or by phoning QuayTickets on 0161 876 2015.
