Emergency services were called to a premises on Silver Street in Bury shortly before 2.30am this morning after several people became unwell.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Shortly before 2.30am this morning Saturday 28 February 2026 officers were called to reports that several people had become unwell at a premises on Silver Street Bury.
“Emergency services attended where multiple people subsequently reported suffering respiratory problems. Several people were treated at the scene with no one taken to hospital.
“The scene and environment were assessed following the incident with no hazardous substances identified. There is not believed to be any wider threat to the community.
“Officers have been at the scene and are undertaking further enquiries to establish the full circumstances.”
Police remained in the area while enquiries continued.
