At 07:00 this morning (Friday 16 June), Rochdale Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant at South Avenue, Heywood.
Officers conducted a search of the property and seized thousands of pounds of cash, Class A drugs, drugs paraphernalia such as scales with residue on, suspected to be cocaine, unused snap bags, and multiple mobile phones – all consistent with a drugs operation.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Sergeant Jay Uppal from GMP Rochdale district said: “This was a great result for our neighbourhood team and is all part of our fight to remove dangerous and illegal substances from our streets.
"Our officers are dedicated to fighting crime, whether that's acting on intelligence to execute warrants or proactively patrolling areas, they are working flat out to keep the community safe."
