A property on Church Street in Rochdale has been served with a Closure Notice by Rochdale Borough Council following concerns linked to nuisance and disorder at the address.
Rochdale Borough Council issued the notice under Part 4 Section 76 of the Anti social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
According to information displayed on the notice, the council said the action had been taken because the premises had either caused, or was likely to cause, nuisance to members of the public and or had been associated with disorder.
Access to the property is now prohibited except for people authorised by the council.
Anyone entering or remaining at the premises without a reasonable excuse could face a prison sentence of up to three months, a fine, or both.
Closure Notices are powers available to authorities when action is considered necessary to prevent further nuisance, disorder or risks to the wider public.
