Our very own Adam Clark made the UK Student Radio Association news last week after he found love on the airwaves.
Before attending university, Ciara would regularly tune into Adam’s show. However, it wasn’t until she watched a video with him in it that she knew that they were meant to be.
When Ciara joined the University of Salford in September and attended a welcome meeting where Adam stood up led the presentation and, it only confirmed that he was the one for her.
Ciara was asked to cover the Thursday Drive… conveniently Adam’s executive shift. Weeks went by and they saw each other more and more and eventually became good friends. However, it wasn’t until he was messaged by another colleague that the realisation was that Ciara liked him.
Adam would listen to Ciara’s show and message her throughout, but when they locked eyes in the studio, Adam knew she was the one for him. Then one day, after Ciara was asked to host Sports, very last minute with Adam, they took a trip to McDonald’s together and began to ‘joke’ to their close friends that they were together.
From that moment on, they were inseparable, and a few days later, Adam made it official.
Ciara has been volunteering with Roch Valley Radio in commentating on our Live Match Commentary.
A spokesperson for Roch Valley Radio said: "We are now pleased to have Ciara join us on the Roch Valley Radio Sports Team alongside Adam and we'd like to remind him that whatever he did in that presentation that caught Ciara's attention should be the same enthuasiam he puts into all of our training sessions."
