Chart-topping musical Jersey Boys heading back to Manchester in 2026

20th anniversary UK and Ireland tour to bring the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to the Palace Theatre

West End and Broadway favourite Jersey Boys is making a triumphant return to Manchester in 2026 as part of its landmark 20th anniversary tour.

The acclaimed musical, which recounts the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will play at the Palace Theatre from 7 to 19 September 2026. Tickets go on general release from Tuesday 11 November 2025 via https://www.atgtickets.com/venues/palace-theatre-manchester

Since its Broadway premiere in 2005, Jersey Boys has earned global recognition for its powerful storytelling and unforgettable soundtrack. The show captures how four ordinary young men from New Jersey became international stars, while lifting the curtain on the tensions that nearly tore them apart.

The tour is expected to draw big crowds in Manchester, where previous runs have sold out. The musical features some of the group’s biggest hits including Big Girls Don’t Cry, Oh What a Night, and Walk Like A Man.

Producer Michael David, speaking on behalf of The Dodgers, said the anniversary tour was about honouring the connection between the story and its global audiences:

“We are thrilled for Jersey Boys to return to the road across the United Kingdom and Ireland. When the show first opened on Broadway 20 years ago, little did we know the story of these four blue collar kids from the wrong side of the tracks would resonate across the UK. We are so grateful to work our way back to you and celebrate 20 years of, as Frankie says, chasing the music, trying to get home.”

The production will be staged by the same award-winning team who brought the musical to life on Broadway, including director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo. Casting is yet to be confirmed.

Originally opening in New York in 2005, the show ran for over a decade and has since been seen by more than 30 million people worldwide. It has won 65 major awards, including a Tony for Best Musical and an Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

Its UK history includes a nine-year West End residency and three record-breaking UK and Ireland tours. The upcoming anniversary tour will visit cities across the country and Ireland into 2027.
