I Still Believe

We are appealing for information following a serious collision in Manchester

Around 12.50am this morning (Sunday 1 May 2022), we received a report of a collision involving a grey coloured Volkswagen Polo and a pedestrian on Higher Cambridge Street near the junction with Boundary Street West.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

PC Phil Drummond, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "As our investigation progresses, our thoughts remain with the woman and her loved ones.

"Though the driver of the vehicle is assisting us with our enquiries, we are appealing to anyone with information or dash cam footage to share it with us."

Anyone with information should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741. Information can be shared anonymously via the independent charity - Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
