Greater Manchester to Face Six-Hour Downpour, Met Office Warns

The Met Office has issued a weather alert for Greater Manchester, predicting heavy rainfall from 4 am to 10 am on July 7.

The downpour is expected to affect areas such as Wigan, Salford, and Bolton, with up to 40mm of rain anticipated in a short period. This could lead to localised flooding and significant disruptions to travel and public transport. Residents are advised to plan accordingly and stay updated on weather conditions.
