Eight people due in court for violent disorder offences

Eight people were charged with violent disorder yesterday (Friday 9 August 2024) following protests across Greater Manchester. They will appear at Manchester Crown Court today (Saturday 10 August).

Aaron Davy (06/08/2006) of Liney Road, Cheadle

Kane Kelly (07/01/2000) of Woodford Road, Failsworth

Daniel Haslip (23/04/1991) of Central Avenue, Shipley, West Yorkshire

Colin Brown (04/07/1987) of NFA. Brown was also charged with robbery.

David Whittaker (12/01/1978) of Farnborough Road, Manchester

Darren Butler (31/08/1982) of Cattlin Way, Oldham

A 13-year-old boy was also charged with violent disorder.
