Three schools in Rochdale have closed this morning, as burst water pipe causes flooding and no water supply.
The burst has been reported on Gerrard Street in the Balderstone & Kirkholt area of Rochdale.
St Mary's Primary, Sandbrook Primary & Holy Family Primary have all announced a closure.
Parents have been asked to collect their children from the schools.
United Utilities are on the scene.
A United Utilities spokesperson, said: “Engineers are currently at Gerrard Street in Rochdale fixing a burst water pipe.
“We have sent our water on wheels tankers to the area to help keep customers’ taps flowing but some may notice they have low pressure or no water whilst the repairs are being carried out. We’d like to apologise to those customers impacted.”
