St Mary's Primary, Sandbrook Primary & Holy Family Primary have all announced a closure.
Parents have been asked to collect their children from the schools.
United Utilities are on the scene.
A United Utilities spokesperson, said: “Engineers are currently at Gerrard Street in Rochdale fixing a burst water pipe.
