A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with ten offences.
Three relating to burglary dwellings, four counts of attempt burglaries and three for theft of motor vehicles alongside being detained for a breach of court order in Surrey.
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester Youth Court on Thursday 7 March 2024.
These charges are a result of an investigation by a team of specialist officers from Bury into a series of burglaries relating to the Bury district with other linked offences in Bolton. This was after GMP’s Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit (TVIU) located and conducted an arrest in Blackley on Tuesday 5 March 2024.
