A woman in her 20s was arrested in Ramsbottom this morning on suspicion of cannabis possession and money laundering.
Officers in Bury carried out a warrant at around 6.30 am at an address on Ada Street.
A quantity of cannabis was found inside along with £3,000 in cash.
The woman remains in custody for questioning.
Sergeant James Donnelly, of Operation Revoke for GMP's Bury District, said: “Our team acted on intelligence that was given to us by members of the community to target drug manufacture and dealing in the area.
“As promised, we are doing all we can to disrupt and dismantle the supply of drugs, bring offenders to justice and take illegal drugs out of circulation.
"Today's action would not have been possible without the assistance and intelligence provided to us by the public and I would encourage anyone with any concerns or information about the trade of drugs in your area.
"Greater Manchester Police can be contacted via gmp.police.uk or 101. In an emergency, always dial 999. Information about crime can also be shared anonymously via, the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555.”
