Statement regarding the General Election Coverage on Roch Valley Radio
On Friday 31st May, we covered the visit from the Conservative Party and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak when he came to Bury and spoke to the local media at Burrs Country Park accompanied by James Daly, the candidate for Bury North.
This morning, it was revealed that the Labour Party Leader, Keir Starmer, visited Bury. However, they failed to inform the local media of his visit, which is disappointing. Therefore, none of our reporters were in attendance, and this does not reflect in any way Roch Valley Radios coverage or political views.
We want to reassure our DAB listeners and those who follow us through our articles and social content that this was not intentional on our part while we covered the elections during this period.
