House hunters in Rochdale are being invited to attend a spring home buyers event at the Silver Hill Manor development on Saturday 14 March.
The open event will give visitors the chance to learn about support schemes and view homes currently available.
The event is being hosted by David Wilson Homes and will run from 11am to 4pm at the Silver Hill Manor development.
Visitors will be able to speak with the developer’s sales team about support schemes designed to help buyers move home. These include the Movemaker scheme and the Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme.
Jennifer Burns, sales director at David Wilson Homes North West, said the initiatives are intended to help buyers at different stages of the property ladder.
She said “Our moving schemes are designed to help house hunters at all stages of the property ladder. Movemaker could see us taking care of the sale of your existing property with the support of our trusted agent partners.
“If you are a key worker we could contribute £1,000 towards your deposit for every £20,000 spent on the purchase price up to a maximum of £25,000.
“This event is a great opportunity for buyers to explore how simple and efficient a move to Silver Hill Manor can be. With our team available to answer questions and treats available on site it is a good time to visit the development and learn more about the homes.”
A pizza van will also be on site during the event.
The development includes 53 homes made up of three and four bedroom properties in the Pennine town. According to the developer the homes are located close to local amenities and commuter routes.
Four bedroom properties are currently available at the development with prices starting from £283,000.
Jennifer Burns added “The show homes will be open for visitors to explore. Seeing the rooms in person really helps visitors picture themselves living there and understand how the spaces can fit their everyday needs.”
No appointment is required to attend the event.
