Emergency services attended a collision on Long Street in Middleton on Monday evening. Two people were injured and one was taken to hospital.
Police and fire crews were called to Long Street at around 6.25pm on 6 April following reports of a collision involving two cars and a motorcycle. The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed one fire engine from Blackley attended the scene. Firefighters made the area safe by isolating the vehicles involved before leaving after around an hour.
Four people were assessed at the scene by paramedics. It is understood that two people, a man and a woman, were injured. One man was taken to hospital. Injuries are not believed to be serious.
Witnesses reported that a motorbike and a white Mercedes vehicle were involved, along with a third car which had been parked nearby. A bus was also within the cordon, although it is not confirmed whether it was involved.
Police remained at the scene during the evening while recovery vehicles were brought in to remove damaged vehicles. Traffic disruption was reported in the surrounding area as drivers were diverted away from the closure.
No arrests have been confirmed. Greater Manchester Police have been approached for further information.
