Uniformed Protective Services students at Middleton Campus were honoured today, Friday 27 June, during a proud passing out parade attended by dignitaries and service representatives.
Families, staff, and special guests gathered to celebrate the discipline, commitment and achievements of students completing their course at the annual Passing Out Parade. The event showcased not only their smart appearance and teamwork but also a year packed with accomplishments, from tackling the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge to earning Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards.
Held at the Middleton Campus of the college, the parade was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Diane Hawkins, and the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Janet Emsley. Representatives from Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, the Royal Air Force and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award were also present to support and congratulate the students.
College staff praised the students for their determination and strong sense of public service, with many expected to progress into careers in policing, the armed forces, fire and rescue, or other uniformed roles.
