Police in Bury have released photos of a man they would like to speak to following a serious assault in the town centre.
Officers were called to reports a man was being attacked on Bolton Street at about 3 am today (14 April 2022).
It is believed the male victim in his 20s was attacked by two people and required hospital treatment.
A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation
Detective Constable Alex Fagelman, of Bury CID, said: "This was a violent attack that we are sure must have been witnessed - any members of the public who have information about the incident should ring police on 0161 856 8185 or 101 and quote log 260-14/04/2022."
