A main road through Heywood remains closed after a car struck a building overnight, bringing down part of the structure.
Police and fire crews rushed to Bridge Street in the early hours of this morning, after the collision, which left bricks and rubble strewn across the pavement and exposed the interior of the property. A van was also spotted within the police cordon.
The road has been closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service are yet to release details on injuries or arrests, but both remain on site.
We have contacted both GMP & GMFRS for comment.
