One man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a collision yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Rochdale Old shortly after 8:30 pm.
The collision involved two vehicles, pictures from the scene showed one of the vehicles had toppled onto its roof.
Eyewitnesses noticed a large emergency service response from Police, fire & ambulance.
The road opened shortly after 10 pm.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) spokesperson said: “At 20:36 on Monday 27 September 2021 two fire engines from Bury and Heywood fire stations and the technical response unit from Ashton fire station responded to a road traffic collision on Rochdale Old Road, Bury.
“The incident involved two vehicles and one casualty was assessed by North West Ambulance Service for minor injuries. Firefighters made the scene safe and were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
