A brand new illuminated trail is coming to Heaton Park this festive season, offering a mile-long walk through glowing light displays, local food and festive cheer from 20 November to 31 December 2025.
The event will feature 14 themed zones, each with its own design and atmosphere. Visitors will also find food stalls, bars and a Christmas village along the route, all set against the backdrop of one of the region’s most popular parks.
It’s being run by From the Fields, the company behind Kendal Calling and Bluedot. They launched their first festive trail in Cardiff’s Bute Park in 2021 and have since expanded to Newcastle and Leeds, selling over 800,000 tickets.

This is the first time they’ve brought the event to Greater Manchester. Organisers say the trail has been created with all ages and abilities in mind, and is aimed at families, groups and anyone looking for a festive night out.
The route will be fully lit for early evening entry, with more details on tickets and timings due soon.
