The monsters are coming to Bury Market next Wednesday (9 Nov) to make sure we’re all getting jabbed up against Covid and flu.
The gruesome twosome will be roaming our famous market from 8am to 11am reminding us to get vaccinated as we head towards winter.
Councillor Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for adult care, health and wellbeing, said: “As the nights draw in, Covid and flu are preparing to launch a double whammy on unsuspecting Bury residents.
“While most people will recover from these illnesses without serious problems, Covid and flu can pose huge risks to others, particularly the elderly and those with underlying health issues.
“Don’t get monstered – get jabbed up, and protect yourself and your loved ones.”
In Bury, Covid vaccinations will be given at venues across the borough – for a list of clinics in November, go to https://www.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=15987
Flu jabs will be given at GP surgeries and other venues including pharmacies (not at the Covid clinics).
