MegaRetailer opens in Rochdale with big-brand bargains for shoppers

Rochdale has welcomed a new addition to its retail scene as MegaRetailer opened its doors this weekend, promising household brands at discount prices for both residents and local businesses.

The new discount warehouse, based on Princess Street, offers a wide range of products from household essentials to snacks, drinks, cleaning supplies and more. MegaRetailer says it is committed to “keeping it cheap, simple, and stocked” while offering fresh ‘Mega Deals’ every week.

With a focus on value for money, the store aims to appeal to both individual shoppers looking to save on daily essentials and small business owners in need of bulk buys without premium markups. The warehouse-style layout is designed for ease of browsing, ensuring customers can stock up quickly and efficiently.

The company’s opening comes at a time when many households are looking for ways to stretch their budgets amid rising living costs. MegaRetailer’s management said they want to bring “big-brand bargains direct to smart shoppers and savvy businesses” while supporting Rochdale’s wider retail economy.
