A man in his 40s suffered two fractured eye sockets and a broken nose following an assault in Whitefield.
At around 5 pm on Boxing Day, the male (pictured right) was in the communal garden of a property on Calder Crescent when he was attacked.
He has no recollection of the incident, police are looking to identify those responsible.
No arrests have been made.
