Counter Terrorism Policing North West has re-arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with last week’s terror attack in Crumpsall.
The man, who was originally detained on 2 October on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism, was re-arrested today (9 October) at Manchester Airport on suspicion of failing to disclose information, contrary to Section 38B of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Police confirmed he was taken into custody at 12.34pm under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) before being released on bail with conditions later in the day.
Officers have reassured the public there is no ongoing threat following last week’s incident.
The investigation remains live and is being led by Counter Terrorism Policing North West.
