Samuel Penrose (29/07/1988) of Partington Street, Rochdale appeared at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 27 April, after he was charged with the following offences:
- One count of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a private place
- Two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place
- One count of possessing a bladed article in a public place
This was after response officers responded to an incident on West Starkey Street, Heywood on Sunday 26 April.
Penrose pleaded guilty to all charges and has been remanded in custody to next appear at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
