A 22-year-old man has been charged with Section 18 assault, wounding with intent, following a stabbing in Middleton yesterday.
Jordan Darcy of Newton Crescent, Middleton has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday).
Police were called to a pub on Kemp Street yesterday afternoon (Sunday) to reports of a stabbing
Emergency services attended and enquiries established a 37-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside the pub.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition requiring surgery.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or video footage to get in touch with police.
