The Rochdale Feel Good Festival returns on Saturday 13 August with five additional venues to attend

An adult only show will follow this up at 8:15pm with a packed line-up including the winner of BBC’s New Comedy Awards 2021 – Anna Thomas. Friday will also see Rochdale Feel Good Festival main stage DJ Dave Sweetmore whilst his special guests will be offering an indie set behind the decks at Hoochi Koochi.

Following up will be northern soul band The Northern Soultrain, rock band HAiG, Manchester singer/songwriter Abbie Ozard, choir Sing Along With Us, guitarist and singer/songwriter Aziz Ibrahim, alternative dance band ENTT, indie/folk duo FireWoodisland, DJ Dave Sweetmore. There will also be a local battle of the bands winner!
Councillor Janet Emsley, cabinet member for events at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “It is fantastic to see this festival coming back and with so much to see across our indoor venues we’ll certainly be giving music lovers something to celebrate and there’s comedy on the Friday evening to get you feeling good! This festival brings people into Rochdale from across the region and way beyond so it’s great to be able to showcase all these venues and there will be more acts announced in the coming weeks.”
Caroline Norton, owner of The Medicine Tap added: “The Feel Good festival has always been a prominent date in Rochdale’s calendar, a great music event that creates such an incredible atmosphere. We’re so excited to be a part of it and show off some local musical talent.”
Tickets for the main stage (£7) are on sale at www.rochdalefeelgoodfestival.co.uk and you can also book in person at Touchstones Rochdale, Heywood Civic Centre and Middleton Arena.
Most performances at the indoor venues are free, but check rochdalefeelgoodfestival.co.uk for details as some are ticketed. You need to buy tickets for the Friday warm-up shows and early booking is advised.
