Kyle Howard, whose date of birth is 13 June 2000 and who is of Tweedale Street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder.
Greater Manchester Police said the charge relates to an incident on Tweedale Street where officers were called to a concern for welfare on Monday 25 May 2026.
Police said a 44 year old woman was found dead at the scene after officers attended the address on Tweedale Street.
Howard is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court, today, Wednesday 3 June 2026.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the charge relates to the incident on 25 May and that enquiries have been ongoing since the woman was discovered.
Criminal proceedings are now active.
