Four men have been charged following reports of disorder at the end of Rochdale AFC’s match against York City on Saturday 26 April.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that four individuals have been charged in connection with an incident that took place after the final whistle.
Kiean Sultan, of Thirlmere Drive in Middleton, has been charged with pitch encroachment and an offence under Section 4 of the Public Order Act.
Aaron Dawson, of Smithies Street in Heywood, has been charged with two counts under Section 4B of the Public Order Act.
Sam Manicolo, of Hollins Drive in Middleton, and Thomas Coleman, of Blenheim Street in Rochdale, have both been charged with pitch encroachment.
One man was arrested at the scene and later de arrested.
All four men have been released on bail and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 18 August 2026.
