Parents in Rochdale are being urged to act fast as places fill up for the town’s popular half-term Soccer Schools, returning next week at two borough venues.
Running for over 30 years, the holiday sessions are back for the summer break, offering football-themed activities, multi-sports, and games for children aged five to 12.
Taking place at Crown Oil Arena and Heywood Sports Village, the programme provides a fun, safe environment that keeps children active while giving working parents a trusted childcare option.
The Soccer Schools run Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm, and are open to boys and girls of all abilities. While football is the core focus, there’s a mix of sports and activities designed to keep children engaged, make friends, and have fun.
Children must bring their own packed lunch, and all sessions are delivered by qualified, DBS-checked coaches from Rochdale AFC Community Trust.
Prices are £60 per week at the Crown Oil Arena and £50 per week or £15 per day at Heywood Sports Village.
Spaces are limited and demand is high, families are advised to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
