FGRS Community Hub has set up a JustGiving page this week for families affected by the house explosion on Nelson St located in the Fishpool area of Bury.
FGRS Community Hub, a community hub that has three aims, a community café, food bank and clothing bank to provide community support based at Bury Football Club, has started raising funds through JustGiving for those families affected by the house explosion on Nelson Street, situated within Fishpool, Bury.
So far over £500 has been raised with a target of £3500 that is hoped to be raised to help support those affected.
Gemma Goss from FGRS that posted the crowdfunding page wrote "We are wanting raise as much money as possible to support the families effected by the gas explosion. 3 houses are being demolished and other houses along the row have been damage. As we know we are already in a cost of living crisis and people are already struggling but to be faced with the loss of everything is just uncomprehendable We cannot bring back the most important things that may have been lost like pictures and memories but we can help with the basics where needed"
