The funding will assist the club’s ongoing work in providing rugby league opportunities for people of all ages across the borough.
Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC has welcomed support from Nisa Local, PRP Trading Ltd, and the charity Making a Difference Locally following a donation presented to club representatives at a gathering attended by members, volunteers, and supporters.
The club said the funding will contribute towards new kit and equipment while helping to maintain community programmes and participation opportunities.
Speaking to Roch Valley Radio, Carl Abraham, representing Rochdale Mayfield, said: “We are incredibly thankful to Nisa Local and Making a Difference Locally for their generosity. Community rugby clubs rely heavily on the support of local businesses and organisations, and this donation will make a real difference to our players and volunteers.”
