Bury town centre will be a sea of colour this weekend, Saturday 7th June as Bury Pride returns for its annual celebration of LGBTQI+ inclusion and visibility.
This year’s event will take place on Knowsley Street, directly outside the Town Hall, where the main stage, stalls, food and drink vendors will be set up. The event will begin at 10.30am and will run throughout the day with a variety of live performances and entertainment.
The Walking Rainbow Parade is set to begin at 12:15pm, winding through the town centre with the support of local organisations and businesses. The parade aims to promote unity and showcase the borough’s support for its LGBTQI+ communities.
Bury Pride is open to all and encourages residents and visitors alike to show their support. The event is accessible via Bury Interchange, with parking available in the town centre for those travelling by car.
