A man from Bury is among four suspects facing court today after being charged with cocaine smuggling at Manchester Airport, following an investigation by the National Crime Agency.
A Bury man has been charged as part of a National Crime Agency, NCA, investigation into the alleged smuggling of cocaine through Manchester Airport.
Dale Hosker, 49, of Palatine Road, Bury, is one of four men accused of attempting to import Class A drugs into the UK. He was charged late on Tuesday evening,17 June 2025, and is expected to appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
Also charged are Dale Creen, 34, of Mere Fold, Worsley; Elton Hallaci, 31, an Albanian national from Adlam Road, Liverpool; and Artur Iseberi, 27, also an Albanian national, of Aintree Lane, Liverpool.
The alleged offences are understood to have taken place in May 2024. Details about the method of smuggling or the quantity of drugs seized have not yet been disclosed as the investigation remains ongoing.
Two other men who were arrested on Tuesday have since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The NCA said the operation is part of its ongoing efforts to tackle drug trafficking networks operating through UK airports. Manchester Airport remains a focus point for joint action with Border Force and Greater Manchester Police.
The court hearing is expected to be the first step in what could be a lengthy legal process.
